Q: Why are your fees higher than others?
We are only passing on transport charges that we have had to absorb. This includes us consolidating both Dutch and British plants along with CITES products.
Q: Can i collect my order and have a collected price?
Yes you can. If you would like to collect please just let us know and we can remove outbound delivery charges - remember we do have still have inbound charges.
Q: Can I reduce fuel surcharge fees if just ordering British?
If your order is only British (e.g just Orchids) we will happily edit the surcharge so reflects a smaller cost of £8.45
Q: What happens if fuel costs go down?
If (and we hope it does) fuel costs drop then so will the surcharge. We are reviewing this weekly and setting the rate each week so its completely fair for both you and us.
Q: My system won't allow me to add this as a separate cost on PO - can i add to prices?
Unfortunately we can not add these to the plant prices as fuel costs are varying so dramatically. Once the situation stabalises we can work to get the new baseline transport cost reflected in the plant price.
Q: Where does it show the fuel surcharge?
On your final sales order confirmation and invoice there will be a fuel surcharge line. This will have the current rate per trolley on it.
Q: How do I know your fuel surcharge will go do down if situation changes?
We are publishing our weekly fuel surcharge on our website. You can see the charge and this will be reflected in our invoices.
