A compact, foliage houseplant, with large, shield-shaped dark green leaves with contrasting silvery green veins. Undersides of leaves are purple. Occasionally produces yellow spathe flowers

Common Names: Elephant Ear, Polly
Care Tips: Alocasias need bright but indirect light, temperatures of 16–30°C and humid air from spring to autumn. Keep them cooler and drier in winter
