Maranta, commonly known as the Prayer Plant, have a habit of folding upright at night to resemble praying hands. Its a striking houseplant with vibrant patterned leaves and its spreading, low-growing habit makes it perfect for hanging or trailing.

 

Common Names: Prayer Plant, Ctenanthe
Care Tips: Place in bright, indirect light but avoid direct sunlight, as this will scorch the leaves and keep away from draughts. Provide a minimum temperature of 15°C and avoid temperature fluctuations where possible.
